Lawry’s The Prime Rib was established in 1938 in Beverly Hills, California, building on the success of Tam O’Shanter Inn, which opened in 1922 and was one of the first theme restaurants in the United States. The success of this restaurant led to the opening of Lawry’s, which focused on presenting prime rib as its signature dish.
Lawry’s first opened on La Cienega Boulevard with a revolutionary dining concept, featuring prime rib seasoned with a special blend of spices and slow-roasted to perfection. The table-side service with a silver cart for carving the prime rib and the Spinning Bowl Salad provided diners with a memorable and exciting experience. In addition to the meat menu, we also offer seafood options such as lobster and many more for customers who prefer not to eat meat.
Following its success in Beverly Hills, Lawry’s expanded to major cities in the United States and internationally, including Chicago, Dallas, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Today, Lawry’s The Prime Rib has opened a location in Bangkok, Thailand, seamlessly blending the restaurant’s rich heritage with Thai culture, committed to providing an exceptional dining experience for the Thai people.
The first branch in Thailand is located at Gaysorn Amarin, with meticulous attention to detail in the food, venue selection, and restaurant décor. Additionally, there is a VIP room available for guests seeking privacy, whether for business negotiations or gatherings with friends.
We also offer a wide variety of wines, along with a Wine Dispenser that allows you to sample wines from around the world at accessible prices, ensuring that you can enjoy a memorable and perfectly paired dining and wine experience.
