BOVET 1822 Opens Flagship Boutique in Bangkok
BOVET 1822 is proud to announce the opening today of its first boutique in Thailand, in the Gaysorn Village, Ploenchit Road, Bangkok. The boutique, which is located in a prime position, features a complete collection of BOVET timepieces and joins BOVET’s other flagship stores in Singapore, Riyadh, Moscow, and Tokyo, with more to come in 2022.
“In Thailand, we have a large group of collectors who are passionate about timepieces," says Papatsarin Chaithitimontree, Brand Manager of BOVET Thailand. "Many people are looking for something different to buy and BOVET is the best choice for them. Thai people know BOVET very well, as BOVET has been active in Thailand for many, many years. The new boutique is located in a very good location, in the center of Bangkok, and it is very convenient to get here from anywhere in the city. Southeast Asia is a big focus for the House of BOVET and the Bangkok boutique enhances BOVET’s presence in this very important region."
BOVET 1822 has a legitimate history of making fine timepieces, with next year being its 200th anniversary. The new Bangkok boutique will present the House of BOVET in its unique environment, almost as if the collectors had made the trip to the BOVET Castle in Switzerland.
"We have a long history and tradition of fine watchmaking in Asia and specifically in Thailand, and the collectors here are very dear to us,” says Mr. Pascal Raffy, owner, BOVET 1822. “We are looking forward to continuing our great relationship with collectors in Thailand and having a flagship boutique with a strong local team of watch experts here is so important. Thai collectors love bespoke timepieces and this is one of the specialties of the House of BOVET. We will be holding many events in Bangkok in the coming years.”
BOVET stands out in watchmaking for its in-house manufacture (including hairsprings and regulating organs), its spectacular decoration and finishing, and its one-of-a-kind aesthetic. "For me, Bovet is a very unique brand, it has a beauty that goes beyond the incredible mechanics – these timepieces are pieces of art," details Chaithitimontree. "The design is very distinctive. When you are wearing a BOVET, people know it is special."
The boutique will host intimate collector events and Chaithitimontree will be working closely with Thai and international media to spread the word about BOVET. Some of the key timepieces that the boutique will highlight include the new Battista Tourbillon, the Amadeo Amadeo, the new Miss Audrey Sweet Art, and many more.
